Guiselle
has a Masters degree in Latin-American languages and cultures with an emphasis on literature from the Univerity of Leiden (the Netherlands) and a PhD in Cultural Studies from Nijmegen University (the Netherlands). She spent several years researching identity constructions through digital media and performance art. While she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam she also worked independently as a coach.
Guiselle has co-written and produced several theatre pieces and performed both as a musician and an actor. The concepts of transformation, the magical and of magical realism play an important role in her art.
